Greenwich Hospital is a regional medical center in Greenwich, CT.  This 206-bed facility serves Westchester County, New York, and  Fairfield County, Connecticut.

The hospital opened in 1903. Since then it has evolved into a progressive medical center and teaching institution

The hospital received the esteemed Summit Award from Press Ganey Associates for five successive years. This award recognizes facilities that uphold a patient's approval standing in the 95th percentile or higher for three years in a row.

Since opening in 1903, the Greenwich Hospital has gone through several significant milestones such as:

  •         Becoming the first arthritis clinic in southeastern Connecticut in 1954.  It was designed to recognize and treat arthritis in the early stages.
  •         Becoming one of the first hospitals in Connecticut to introduce the "birthing room" for prospective parents in 1981.
  •         Affiliating with Yale-New Haven Health system in 1998 and becoming a regional teaching hospital
